My wife and I have always avoided packed calendars. Lately we’ve been learning to embrace busy seasons, with one condition: we know exactly what we’re aiming at. The busyness isn’t a pile of things we said yes to because they were available. It’s the cost of something we chose on purpose.
We drive the busy seasons. They don’t drive us.
I see the same thing with brands and teams. A clear vision makes an intense sprint feel purposeful. Without one, you’re not building anything; you’re just busy.
